All About Me

My grooming career started in 2011 when I became an apprentice for a global grooming corporation in my hometown of Plainville, CT.

I spent about two years there honing my skills as a groomer before taking on the role of Salon Manager in 2013.

In 2014 I transferred to the Sunshine State (FL) where I continued corporate grooming for another two years.

In 2016 after returning home to CT, I accepted a position as a senior stylist at Doggy Do’s in Avon CT where I groomed under owner/seasoned groomer Daniel Leahy and his lead stylist Cathy Gombotz. Each year we attended continued education seminars, where I would later go on to be certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, Skin and Coat Health, Grooming Safety, Handstripping and Carding, and Grooming Short and Long Legged Terriers.

During my five years at Doggy Do’s I became particularly invested in grooming terriers, and acquired a large following of Hand Stripping clients from throughout the state of CT.

While I am quite fond of grooming terriers, I am experienced in grooming all breeds, and service canine clientele with many different coat types.

When I am not in the salon you can find me in the company of my three dogs, Dudley (Hound Mix), Winnie (Biewer Terrier), and Oakley (Catahoula Leopard Dog).
